“Expensive Money” is usually the first thing most people think of when they hear the term Hard Money from a Private Money Lender. And it can be unless you know what you’re doing. However, although Hard Money from private lenders tends to be a bit more expensive than conventional financing, its benefits often outweigh the cost.

Investors sometime can’t go the conventional route. They might be short on cash, have bad credit, or have leveraged themselves with their monies working in other properties or investment assets.

Hard money lending is the solution that allows you to take action on a fix & flip opportunity the moment you discover that great deal. Lenders want to see a “great deal.” It’s essential, as lenders look at the opportunity you present, not necessarily you, the investor. This great deal can be the difference between getting a deal funded or not.

Important Note: Some Investors make a big mistake by shopping too early for money. It’s much better to shop for cash when you already have a deal under contract. Money is attracted to “great deals.”
